With the launch of Google Chrome’s latest browser update, Chrome 66, a feature was added that lets you quickly mute the sound of videos that autoplay on a website. While we’re big fans of Chrome, utilizing this feature will certainly make Hideout.tv quite boring for you and will also severely hurt your chances to earn rewards if you leave it turned on. Thus, we highly recommend that you disable video autoplay muting in Chrome.
Luckily, there is an easy way to turn off autoplay muting, and make sure you keep enjoying Hideout.tv and earning rewards. Here’s how to disable autoplay muting:
1. Open Chrome, type in the address in bold: chrome://flags/#autoplay-policy
Then hit “Enter”
2. You’ll then be taken to the Autoplay policy settings section on the Chrome Experiments page, with the Autoplay policy section highlighted:
3. Click on the drop-down arrow on the right side of the section, and select “No user gesture is required.”
4. Click on the button on the bottom of your screen that says, “Relaunch Now”
