With the launch of a new browser update by Firefox, known as Firefox 66, a feature was added that quickly mutes the sound of videos that autoplay on a website. Like us, you're probably a big fan of Firefox---and we definitely want you to keep using it to watch Hideout.tv. However, the autoplay muting feature in Firefox 66 has a few negative consequences for your Hideout.tv viewing experience, most notably it makes videos boring to watch and severely hurts your chances to earn rewards. Thus, to enjoy the benefits of Hideout.tv, you'll want to disable autoplay muting when using Firefox on Hideout.tv.
Luckily, it's really easy to turn off autoplay muting, and make sure you keep enjoying Hideout.tv and earning rewards.
Here’s how to disable autoplay muting:
Step 1: Click on the lock icon on the top of your browser, next to the Hideout.tv web address:
Step 2: Click on the wheel icon, located in the "Permissions" section:
This will take you to the Preferences page.
Step 3: Scroll down to the Permissions section, find the "Block websites from automatically playing sound" section, and click on the "Exceptions..." button:
Step 4: Type "Hideout.tv" in the search box, click on "Allow" and then click the "Save Changes" button (steps shown below):
