Creator Payment Information

Receiving payment for your Hideout.tv video content is quick and easy. Please keep in mind that only Hideout.tv Featured Creators are eligible to receive payment for content that is uploaded to Hideout.tv. To find out if you are a featured creator, please contact your account manager, or submit a support ticket by clicking on the Submit a request link (located on the top-right corner of this page). Below you will find some basic information on how our payment process works, as well as a quick step that is needed to make sure that you receive payment. Lastly, we wouldn't have great content without you. Thanks for being a Hideout.tv Creator!

Hideout.tv Creator Payment Information

Earnings Model (Payment Per Video View): Featured creators generate revenue from their Hideout.tv content using a CPM (Cost per mille) model based on video views. Basically, this CPM model means that you will generate a fixed amount of revenue for every one thousand views on videos that you upload, and have the rights to distribute, to Hideout.tv. You'll also earn revenue, using this CPM model, from all video views of your content on our creator-compilation channels (like our Food channel), and from views of your content on our Hideout.tv Amazon Fire app. Please note that viewers don't have to watch ads for you to earn, they just simply have to watch your videos (so definitely don't be shy when telling everyone when you add new videos to Hideout.tv, or when sharing your Hideout.tv channel).

Required Step: Please log into your Hideout.tv account, and complete all of the fields that are listed in the "Creator Payment Information" section. Most importantly, please make sure to add your PayPal address.

Payment Method: Currently, we send payment through PayPal only.

Minimum Payment Threshold: To receive each payment, at least $50 of earnings is required.

Pay Period: Payments are sent on a Net30 schedule, which means that payments are sent 30 days following the end of a revenue-earning month, once you reach the minimum payout threshold. Here's some quick examples to explain:

• If you generated earnings from your Hideout.tv content in May, you will receive payment on or around June 30th.
• If you generated earnings from your Hideout.tv content in November, you will receive payment on or around December 30th.

Please note that weekends and holidays can impact payment delivery, thus we can't guarantee that you'll be paid on the 30th each month. However, in those circumstances, we'll do our best to pay you as soon as possible.

Payment Delivery: Your account manager will alert you once your payment has been sent through PayPal. Keep in mind that we send payment via PayPal Payouts, thus you will never lose money due to fees on our payments.
