Your Hideout.tv channel is your place to show viewers what your content is all about, as well as entice them to subscribe to receive your new videos. Thus, it's highly recommended that you spend some time to make your channel one that truly represents your brand. Luckily, we've made customizing your Hideout.tv channel a quick and easy process, allowing you to create a one-of-a-kind look in just a matter of minutes. Here's how you do it:

How to Customize Your Hideout.tv Channel

Step 1: Go to the My Channel Page

Step 2: Create Your Channel Name 

Your channel name is your chance to display your brand prominently on your Hideout.tv channel. You can easily customize it by clicking on the pencil icon on the right side of the page, in the "Channel Name" area. Once you add your channel name, it will show up on your channel, right above the info and description areas for your channel, like this:

Step 3: Add a Channel Cover Image

The channel cover image is a large image that displays across the top of your channel. Customizing your channel cover image allows you to quickly grab viewers' attention, and showcase your content. Once you customize this image, you'll have an engaging visual to welcome viewers to your channel. To customize this image, head to the "Add / Edit Channel Cover Image" area and click on the pencil icon on the right side. Once you customize that image, you'll have something awesome to display to viewers like this:

Step 4: Add a Channel Profile Image

The channel profile image shows up to the left of your channel name, and allows you to add some extra branding to your page. Click on the pencil icon on the right side of the "Add / Edit Your Channel Profile Image" area to add your profile image. Once done, you'll have something awesome like this:

Step 5: Edit Your Description and Profile

Located on the left side of your channel page, this area has two components:

Description: This area allows you to describe your channel, and is a great tool to explain to Hideout.tv viewers the reasons why they should watch and subscribe to your channel.

Custom Links: These links allow you to send Hideout.tv viewers to your website, social channels, or even your Patreon. Thus, you'll definitely want to take advantage of this area of the profile to grow your brand through visits by Hideout.tv viewers to your properties. Free traffic!

To edit this area, click on the pencil icon on the right side of the "Add / Edit Text Description and URLs" area.
